Special Scholarship Offering for Teacher Appreciation Week

Welcome to Moreland University’s Teacher Appreciation Week Scholarship, where we celebrate educators making a difference in addressing the critical teacher shortage across the United States. We are thrilled to extend this scholarship opportunity to teachers and staff currently working in U.S. schools or districts and pursuing a full teaching certification. 

In the face of a pressing national challenge, Dr. Susanne H. Thompson, President of Moreland University, underscores the urgency: “The teacher shortage in the US is a significant issue that demands attention. At Moreland University, we are committed to addressing this issue and providing financial support to educators who are actively teaching while completing their certification coursework.” 

This scholarship awards eligible applicants with $500 toward their Moreland University tuition, empowering teachers to further their education and professional growth with financial assistance.

To receive this scholarship, simply apply for admission to Moreland’s TEACH-NOW or M.Ed. program, and enroll by May 31.
