General Requirements
Georgia requires educators to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. That degree does not have to be in education.

Testing Requirements
Georgia teachers take the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators (GACE). Specific exams vary based on grade level, subject, and type of certification.
