Reciprocity Pathway
Connecticut has a list of approved Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs). Connecticut requires educators to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and to complete an EPP, pass the required certification exams, and complete fingerprint and background checks.
Testing Requirements
Connecticut requires different assessments for each certification content area. The state works with multiple test providers, including Educational Testing Service (ETS), Pearson Education, and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.

Moreland University’s TEACH-NOW Teacher Preparation Certificate Program is 100% online.The clinical learning portion (student teaching) can be done in your current classroom. If you’re not currently teaching, we’ll help you find a placement for your student teaching.
Which accreditations and approvals has Moreland earned?
Moreland is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), among others. Moreland was the first online program to be accredited by CAEP.
