Special Scholarship Offering for Teacher Appreciation Week

Welcome to Moreland University’s scholarship for Teacher Appreciation Week! We are proud to offer this scholarship to those currently teaching or working within a school or district in the United States who are working towards their certification. 

“As we know, the teacher shortage in the US is a major issue we are facing,” says Dr. Susanne H. Thompson, President of Moreland University. “At Moreland University, we are committed to addressing this issue and providing financial support to teachers who are currently teaching while finishing their coursework for certification.” 

Applicants who meet the requirements will be awarded a $200 scholarship to apply to their tuition. This is a great opportunity for teachers to continue their education and professional learning while receiving financial support.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, May 8-12, we will be accepting applications for our scholarship offering. Applicants must apply for admission to Moreland, complete the Teacher Appreciation Scholarship application during Teacher Appreciation Week, and enroll by May 31.
