Why International Schools and Organizations Partner with Moreland University
| by Fatima Naimi
Teacher certification is critical in ensuring high-quality education. For international organizations, especially where teachers are coming from a variety of countries, a U.S. teacher certification is a great way for educators to grow their skills and increase their classroom effectiveness.
Through Moreland University, your teachers could earn a professional certification in as little as 9 months or a certification and a master’s degree in as little as 12 months.
Our programs are fully accredited and 100% online, with rolling admissions and monthly start dates.

Why Partner with Moreland University?
We partner with more than a dozen international organizations (along with 90-plus U.S. based school districts). Our partnership can help you comply with accreditor rules and regulations, increase your credibility and visibility, and make you more competitive with teaching candidates and prospective students.
Global cohort model: Your teachers will learn with and from educators from around the world. They’ll gain new perspectives and a deeper understanding of educational practices.
Accelerated: Your teachers can earn full certifications in as little as 9 months. Our programs are 100% online, with live Zoom classes once a week.
Budget-friendly: If more than 30 teachers in your organization need a professional license, Moreland will offer a discounted tuition rate. We also offer interest-free payment plans.
Supportive: Our partnership means you can check items off your to-do list. We’ll support your teachers with a dedicated mentor, guidance through the complex certification process, test prep for certification exams, and admissions and program advisors.
Alumna Review
“It shifted my perspective. It gave me a different set of eyes. It’s not just Miss Miya the teacher who’s looking at things, now it’s Miss Miya the leader, who has a very different perspective. … I’m very proud to be a graduate from Moreland. It really is one of my greatest achievements.” — Miya Hourani, Moreland grad and international educator, Kuwait
What Does Partnership Entail?
Our partnership structure is designed to align with your school or organization’s specific needs and goals. Step 1 is a brief call with our team to discuss your needs. From there, we’ll determine how to best work together.
You’ll have a dedicated partnership manager, and your teachers will get practical coursework, clinical learning (student teaching), dedicated mentors, and test prep to ensure they’re ready for their certification exams.

Alumna Review
“Moreland was able to fit neatly into my already busy schedule, so I could improve my skills without it taking me off track. I’ve been able to continue working. I’ve been able to do both online and classroom teaching, look after my kids, and still complete my course.” — Irene Odei Siaw, Moreland grad and international educator, Vietnam

Accreditations
Moreland is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. We were the first online program to be accredited by CAEP.
Cost and Fees
Tuition for our TEACH-NOW Program is $7,200. However, if more than 30 teachers in your organization need a professional certification, Moreland will offer a discounted tuition rate.
Some of our partners offer tuition coverage (full or partial) for their teachers. Offering tuition support in return for a guaranteed number of years of service is a great way to support and empower your teaching staff while improving teacher retention.
