Clinical Learning
Included in Moreland’s 9-month TEACH-NOW Teacher Preparation Certificate Program is a 12-week long clinical learning module where candidates lead a classroom under the guidance of a mentor teacher. For provisional or temporarily certified candidates, this clinical practice can be completed in their own classroom, and for aspiring teachers Moreland helps place them in a qualifying opportunity. Candidates apply what they’ve learned in prior modules in a real classroom environment and get immediate feedback from mentors and faculty. This helps you find confidence in your teaching abilities and get classroom experience before graduation.

Our TEACH-NOW program can be completed in 9 months, while our Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) with teaching credential can be completed in 12 months. Both options include 12 weeks of clinical learning, empowering you to succeed well beyond graduation.

Certification Test Prep
Moreland wants to help their candidates succeed from the first day in the program to well beyond their graduation. A part of this support network is testing preparation which is available to help candidates pass the exams needed for certification. With test prep embedded in our certification program and partnerships with multiple exam prep organizations, Moreland helps candidates build testing confidence.
