David Riis Wilson (Teacher Achabu) is an international science educator with over 13 years of teaching experience across Ghana, Vietnam, and Indonesia. A proud graduate of Moreland University’s TEACH-NOW program, David holds a D.C (USA) teaching license and currently teaches IB DP Biology, DP ESS, and Science at the high school level in Jakarta. His diverse expertise spans Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Levels, Australian Curriculum, IB MYP, and IB DP frameworks, along with leadership roles in curriculum development, student clubs, and extracurricular programs. He’s currently training for the UK’s NPQLTD – deepening his leadership and curriculum development capacity.
When he is not teaching, David enjoys spending quality time with family, producing videos, exploring edtech tools, and supporting educators through motivational content and professional guidance. His mission is to inspire ambition, empower teachers across Africa and beyond, and spotlight the transformative impact of the TEACH-NOW program on global teaching careers.
